    How hard is it to swap to an LS2?

    So my engine took a shit on me! Lost oil pressure and now in the market for a new engine. I have a hookup on a crate LS2 for under $4k and was wondering how hard the swap is? Is there anything that is major that needs to be changed/moved? Could you give me the details on what needs to be done, or point me in the direction of where I could find the details it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
    EDIT: Or is it easier/better just to put a crate ls6 in?

    i have a LS6 in mine...

    if i remember correctly the knock sensor fucks up the pcm or something with the ls2 so there are a few things you'll have to ditch/change... i'll look it up more for ya when i get home (if my dumb ass remembers...)

    well if you are very very frugal you should be able to get a drop out ls2 and 6spd for the same money...best of luck to you..

    I was told by pace performance that besides the knock sensors getting messed up alot of the connectors are totally different than the stock ones on an ls1 not to mention they said something about having to switch to fly by wire for the throttle cable
