How do you test a fuel pressure regulator?
Hi guys, as some of you might know from my recent posts I'm having problems with loss of power with my LS1 powered AC cobra recreation..
As part of my investigation I've found fluctuating pressure at the fuel rail (60-50psi). The fuel pumps appear ok (well they're spining anyway). I've changed low pressure fuel filter.
This has led me to think the FPR is faulty, but I'm keen to test it before wasting money on a new one.
I have a mallory (4305m) regulator - inlet from high pressure pump, outlet to fuel rail and a return line. Not attached to a vacuum line.
thanks for any help
