How do you open a headlight motor??

My driver's side headlight always makes a grinding sound if don't help it open with my hand everytime. So I took off the headlight assemby and took out the motor to see if i could switch the gear around. I've only been looking at it for several minutes, but I don't see any easy way to open it? any suggestions?

    on his site go to:

f body install and fix guides...then
    bottom left.....trans am database
electrical...then scroll down to headlight fix
then scroll to you find the right year/pics
