Trickflow sells a kit rated at 515 hp and 460 tq. Add on a good intake and exhaust, plus some other bolt ons, and you'll be well into the 500 hp mark.

Are we speaking of crank HP or rear wheel HP? Big difference there. I assume you guys are talking about HP at the crank.

I got 445whp/395wtq with a cheap set of 5.3L heads and a mild cam (Torquer V.2). With an MS4 and a nice set of AFR heads, I'm confident you could see 500+ whp.

i have a torquer 2 and longtubes with a custom 3 1/2" exhaust. i am at 400rwhp and 398rwtq. stock intake, maf, heads, and internals.a good set of stock 5.3 heads are good for 30 to 40 hp. fast 90 intake is good for 30 to 40 hp gain. i am in the process of forging another ls1 and doing a custom turbo build with a custom built intake. it should be close to 700 to 800 rwhp. turbo is a 85mm. i am going to put my n/a engine in my son's 280z.

Like mentioned, it can be achieved. Depends how much you want to spend and how driveable you want the car on the street.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.
