    Hood Install Help

As some of you know my hood was stolen from my car, yea ... just the hood. Well I received a call from the body shop today telling me the hood came in but the brackets that connect to the gas shocks' and the back part of the hood that help it go up and down didn't come in. He said that he called GM and they don't make them anymore and referred him to some vintage place that also doesn't make them anymore. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Will the regular Trans Am hinges' work?

Well per the Body shop and GM here in town the actual hood hinge that is located at the edges right under the windshield is the only bracket that is different from the regular Trans Am's and is the only part that GM doesn't make anymore. Thats why I wanted to come on here and ask around, the Ram Air hood is from GM so Im not sure if any of the aftermarket hoods are the same as the regular ones'

The brackets that go on the hood itself. If you take the hood off there should be 4 brackets that stay on the hood, the ones toward the back, closer to the windshield, are the ones that I need.

The Hood hinges should be the same the strut brackets should be the same only the struts are different between a regular hood and the Fiberglass WS6 Hood because of the weight difference.
I have a factory WS6 hood on my NON WS6 Formula and it was a direct bolt in, I changed nothing so any LS1 year Firebird hood hinge and strut bracket will work.
