Sooo... our friend just called us to inform me that in his junk yard they just got a Z06 that got rear ended HELLA BAD... Sad i know... But the engine is totally good... should i buy it from him... he said he give me a badass price, I would be soo happy if i got that!

Unless you are talking about a C6 Z06 engine, for the money you would spend on that motor vs. the mods you could put on your car, my money would be on keeping your motor and spending that money in mods.

However, if your car has extremely high mileage or something, that's another story..

If the price is right, id say go for it. It might be just as expensive to mod your car to get the same kinda power as it would be to get the motor.

I think John's got a good point though: for the $4000 or $5000 he's going to want for the car (assuming it's a "hella good price") you can put together a pretty nice heads and cam package.

The C5 LS6 package isn't really much more than that: heads and cam with a nice intake. (yes, I know there's a little more but that's really all he's concerned with right now.)

We need to know the price you're talking about to help you make a better decision.
