    high rpm cutout

    HI i need some help i got a 99 ss 6spd mti airlid,GMS mass air,ngk t6 plugs,msd wires, sub-frams,slp pully,mti mail in comp tune my car starts cuting out at 5500-5700 iv changed the 2 metal like gaskets that goes 2 to factory headers again i had take em off the 1st time to change the plugs but its still doing the same thing could it be my computer?

    could be a few things. Do you still have your stock MAF laying around? Try swapping that back in and see if it still does it. Why are you running TR6 plugs? Do you spray the car?

    yes but when they tuned it at mti TX i had it tuned for all my mods is it a valve problem? my freinds got a 98 ss im prety sure its a z28 tho with slp mass air,thunder racing cam n valve upgrade, airlid custum dyno tune its 359hp 360 tq 390hp with open headers he revs it 7000rpms O.O but i cant figure it out!
