    hesitation and black smoke

I have a strange problem, it's an 01 WS6 with 50k miles. When I take off after I idle for an extended period 5 min or more in heavy trafic or in a packed drive through. The engine hesitates, bogs down and blows black smoke like a carbed engine when it loads up. Then I get an SES light and it clears up and the ses light goes out with in a few minutes. By the time I get to work to hook up the scaner, it shows no codes.

If you can borrow the scanner, I would suggest putting it logged mode if possible and driving in the same conditions, hopefully it capture the code for you.

Other wise it sounds like a metering issue of sorts, could be the maf, O2s or even the TPS sensor.

so your SES Lights up and then doesnt store the code? I thought they stayed for a few ignition cycles. as for your problem it sounds fuel delivery related, any where from Fuel filter, O2 sensors, or Fuel pressure regulator.

Well the car acted up last night and I got some codes. A p0200 injector circut open, P0307 cylinder 7 missfire and P0300 randome/multiple missfire detected. I think p0300 and p0307 are a result of p0200. Segestions on the p0200 repair apiciated. thanks

    I'd look them up at gearchatter - here's P0200: www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic9367.php
