Help, where to mount oil pressure sending unit?

So I am in the process of putting an auxiliary oil pressure guage in my 02z as I don't think the stock one is the most accurate. I have one question, where do you mount the oil pressure sending unit?! I've heard there is a spot above the oil filter, but I'm not sure....If anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it! A pic would help as well or if there's a link...

    Thanks in advance!!!!!!

here you go above. It is behind the intake on the drivers side. If you look at the pic above it is the tall plastic piece with the green wire harness attached to the top. Get the socket to remove it would be best, cost me about $10 at autozone.

Thank you for the quick response!

I was hoping there was a way to do it without removing the manifold... I thought there was a place to tap above the oil filter, am I wrong?

I found this to be very interesting: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136780 In addition to relocating the OPSU, it allows the addition of another sending unit.

Here is what you are looking for.

Simply drill and tap the fitting for 1/8" pipe thread and you can install any type of oil pressure gauge you wish while still working in conjunction with the computer and factory setup.

Here is a pic of how I did mine. You can go mechanical or electric gauge at this point. You can see I've already installed the compression fitting and a temporary line for a mechanical gauge.

Quick question Firebirdjones....Would you get a different pressure reading from that spot?
