    help pleas

    my car is bogin out...
I just recently putt long tubes on my car and I have not tuned it yet. well its raining for the first time in a while and I started driving my car in the rain and after I guess a 1/4 off a mile it wasn’t responding, I would press on the gas and it would not respond... well it would but not really.. And well anyway I locked underneath my car and were the o2 censer were it plugs into the header all the wires are exposed (well the individual wires look like there is a coating but the main coating is not sealing everything) could this be why my car is doing this. I think water might have got into the o2 censer?

Sorry about the rambling on pleas let me know what you think

You may have burned off the coating for the wires causing a short. You have a check engine light lit on your dashboard?

Are all of the wires exposed? If so, then you're gonna need to replace all of the O2 sensors. You have a short and it is causing fluctuations in air/fuel ratio. Did you have to install O2 sensor extensions?

I am not sure I had the performance shop putt the headers on.. But I talked to my bro and he said the o2 censer has been needing to be replaced.. now, could it have bogged out so bad because off it getting wet, because it was prety bad i would push on the gas and ther would be very little responce... and i tuned the car off, and restarted it and it would run fine for maybe 100 foot then it would bog out again

Probably. Electric current needs a dry path to follow. Change out the bad sensor and get your tune. All should be fine afterward.
