help with oil analysis

Can some one look at my oil analysis and tell me how bad it is.

Iron 69.4, silver 0.1, aluminum 12, chromium 4.0, copper 57.8, magnesium 179, sodium 381, nickel 2.3, lead 10.4, silicon 16.1, tin 0.0, titanium 0.0, boron 2.0, molybdenum 20.1, zinc 629.

This is all part per million.

also before this oil change the motor has always had royal purple 5w30.

atleast you saw the error of your ways and changed. some people (like a good friend of mine) swear by that shit. i used too.

I guess Royal Purple just makes some people royally blue in the balls...

I think the fact that they were forced to change some of their totally bogus advertising schemes speaks for itself..........

So am i, so am I! lol even after paying for the $10 membership and shipping the oil was still over $1 a quart cheaper.

And the UOA comparisons speak for themselves...about time for me to change my oil, I may go ahead and do an analysis...even though I've put about 12-13k on this oil, I bet I still come out better than an RP analysis at 5k

holy crap. thats a really long time for oil. i was worried about going past 3k. after this oil change i am going to get a UOA too. see how the motor is doing with only 4k on it. right now its at 2k and i have already changed the oil 5 times. haha

I'll save some and get it tested, let you know how 13k does on a 164k motor

It'll tell if Amsoil's advertised 17k oil change is true

I actually meant to change it a couple weeks ago, but some things have come up and money had to be spent elsewhere.

Silicon is dirt being ingested passed your air filter. Bottom line is you either have a POS K&N or a bad leak. You must fix the piss poor air filtration. Untill then all bets are off. Wear metals are high....and this is caused by the amounts of dirt being ingested by your engine.

Sarge, do you know if Amsoil makes a filter for the Pontiac (dual snorkal) Volant intake?

It appears Volant dual snorkel intake #15958C3 for Pontiac Firebird (1998-02) is using either their Pro 5 filter or new Power Core filter. Which one I’m not sure? But if it comes with the Power Core filter, it’s the same Donaldson Endurance synthetic filter media as what Amsoil is using in all their EaA air filters.

Inquire to Volant to clarify.

It's odd, but if you over charge some people, they think they are getting "the best" no matter what.

could that also be the fact that i was driving down miles and miles of dirt roads during this oil change. i went back home for a funeral and most of the family lives down dirt roads. i will check over the turbo inlet. what do you guys think of the aem filters? what other filters are good? i need a BIG one. turbo likes lots of air. but for the record no k&n here.
