Hey man. Thanks for replying. But I have already been using that link to do the cam change. It doesn't say what to do if the cam is already stuck. I have an idea though. I've got a small puller I might try to use.

    Thanks again dude!

Well everybody, my old cam is still stuck. I'm still in need of some suggestions. I can't even get the damn oil pan down to get to the bolt for the oil feeder tube, because I'm also puting a new ported oil pump on. I've been trying to use a 12" long pry bar and I am using my full weight (which is substantial!!). I bought a pry bar at WalMart this morning that looks like it's about 15" long, so I will try that tonight. But I am still open to any suggestions about the cam.

Is there a lifter that is holding it up? That would be the only thing i can think would keep it from coming out. And i would never try a pry bar! Last thing you wanna do is force it out.

Oh no, that's not what I'm using the pry bar on. I'm using the pry bar on the oil pan. Because it's a stuck mother also. Well, I wouldn't think it would be a lifter. I was able to insert the cam rod tools all the way in.

I think Smokestack is asking whether a lifter may not have gone up into its holder when you reverse rotated the engine to get the lifters out of the way?
