Help with camshaft choice for rebuild!!

Ok here are my tentative plans:

Install an aluminum LS1/LS6 block with forged pistons and connecting rods along with ARP rod bolts.

Next, I have the AFR 210 V2's and a 92/92 fast set up for this build. My question is, what is the best cam for this set up? Being that the engine will be forged throughout, what are my options? The heads are 66cc and I don't plan on milling them. I have the 224R cam now, but for this set up I think I can safely squeeze way more power out of it.........

Any informative answers would be appreciated. I am not sure if the 210's work best with a split duration cam like the 205's did......

Talk to Patrick Guerra (Pat G)..he'll spec you a cam specifically for your motor setup.

Also, I would suggest bumping your displacement if your going with forged internals. If you're dead set on using the LS1/6 block, you should look into a 383ci rotating assembly.

How exactly would a bump in displacement benefit me? Is it worth the extra cash?

More power. I just don't see the point in replacing the internals if you're going to stay stock displacement.
