This is all new to me. My first ls engine and its going in a drag car. My plan is the install a holley on a victor jr. intake and progamable msd controller. My question is stock cam or buy a different cam.

If your talking about a 1320 Drag car your gonna wanna pull the cam and valvetrain and upgrade, thats where your going to find most of your gains. Depending on which intake and carb combo your going with i would check and see which cam would mesh well.
Or you can take a look at your budget and ur ultimate goals and gear your build towards that direction.

This is a full out race car I run it at a local track. Now it has a 350 with a powerglide and I was going to replace engine with the ls I bought. I am going to carborate the ls. The car is geared 4:10 now and runs 7.70 in the 1/8 mile. (100 shot of nitrous)
