Black- 2000 WS6 Trans Am
Heavy vibration after Trans. mount install
I installed a new transmission mount on my 2000 WS6 2day. I drove it around the block and it felt like the transmission was going to shake the car apart any ideas. I know I replaced all the bolts and tightened everything.

Did you install one with Polyurethane bushings? If you did then that is your problem.

yeah I did will the vibration quit after it gets broken in?

No it will not. I've read a lot about this about vibration in the cabin. I put in 1LE transmission mount bushing & it's better than stock with limited nose dive. No vibration compared to Polyurethane.

You can get it at your Chevy dealer. I believe it was about $40.00.

You can pick up the 1LE mount for a lot less than $40 at CAP, AutoZone, NAPA, etc.
