    Heat Question

    I was wandering if there is anything else that my friend can do? He has a 97 TA WS6..... He has Long Tubes they are cermic coated and heat wraped and the plug wires have Kevlar heat boots on them but he keeps burning up he's wires is there anything he can do to stop this?

    I haven't had a LT-1 camaro for a while, but I remember a lot of long tube header guys routing the plug wires over the valve covers to prevent them from burning. Do a google search for "LT1 over the valve cover plug wires" and you'll come up with some good info.

    Not sure what boots are on the plugs but he can get 45 degree boots to turn the wire away from the offending header. If he is running MSD wires with the long boots you can bend those by hand to whatever angle it takes really.
