    Question HEADLIGHTS

I HAVE A 1998 Z28 AND I JUST INSTALLED THOSE ANGEL EYE HEADLAMPS AND I WIRED THEM INTO MY FOG LIGHT SWITCH. EVERYTHING WORKS GOOD EXCEPT THAT I CANNOT USED THE ANGEL EYE FEATURE AT NIGHT BECAUSE MY HEADLIGHTS AUTOMATICALLY COME ON AND DROWN OUT THE BLUE RINGS. AND THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN THEM OFF. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM OR DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO STOP THE AUTO HEADLIGHT FEATURE FROM MAKING MY HEADLIGHTS COME ON AT NIGHT. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO JUST TURN THEM ON MANUALY.

    THANKS

As a quick fix for know if you pull your emergency brake handle up just enough to turn the light on your dash it will disengage the auto lights if you look around you can find a light modification that permanently take car of that! Good luck!

Replace the light sensor in the dash with a 10k ohm resistor. That will prevent the head lights from coming on.

Or use the wire method as outlined in my link.
