Headlight Motor Rubber Boot
After removing the boot to crank the headlight up manually, is there any real need for the boot to be put back on. I was thinking about moisture, but the boot only covers the very top.

yeah i took mine of when i changed my gears but never put it back on i was wondering if i should put it back on but i havent done so.
