having selling promblems ...title lost with bank

i sold a car that i owed money on i told the buyer he would get the title when the bank gives it to me. the car was paid off right when his money cleared and title was sent but the bank lost the title and now its been two months and he doesnt have the title yet. he says he wants to sue me for this but i have no control on how fast the bank gets me the title. ive tryed everything to get his title faster.

what do you guys think????? i dont want to f@&k this guy.

hmm... tell the bank you want every dime you spent on the car refunded to you...

they should have enough power to get one reprinted. get the vin and call the main bmv, or go there with the vin and your drivers lics. you should be able to get one. i had to when i sold my car but i had the car paid off, so i just wanted to make sure i had everything on my end set. good luck just make sure to stay in contact with the buyer.
