Harmonic Balancer

I'm trying to decide if i need a new balancer? i got 106k i'm sure its the orignal one...but how do i know if it needs to be changed??? I have looked around on here but couldnt find an answer. Also easy change? This maintaince is getting annoying i guess thats what i get for getting a car that sat for a while and is old. gotta do the water pump also i think

ya it wobbles a little i figured thats why i need to replace it. is that a major problem if it wobbles?

Will be eventually. First it'll usually start causing belts to get thrown. Then it'll cause greater problems. Is this on your 69 or 99?

Its my 99...So i'll just change it. Easy fix? Also why would i need to do a cam when i do the balancer?

Have you done it to yours yet? Seems easy buy I.could be wrong maybe theres some inside info I should know about when I do this tomorrow

you dont need to its just to do a cam requires the same steps you'll need to go through when replacing the balancer

Cam is a little more pricey that's the winter project I just want this to run right and not worry about damaging the motor
