hand break release button install

what the hell

in classic fashion getting it out was easy but getting it back in and working is $#!+

so can somebody help me out im stuck trying to get the hook connected so the hand break actually works

have you tried gasoline and a match

works for me when i get upset

Is it the button you press to make the e brake handle go straight up? All you have to do is let the brake down and it should engage again.

ok well there are 2 things to say

1st is thanks for not laughing at me for misspelling "brake"

2nd is i figured it out there is a spring holding the latch forward and the spring is connected under a little clip holding it down, once you take that spring off you can connect the hook onto the latch and it works once again, it just took a little bit of tinkering to figure it out
