    Guage Colors and custom gauges

I suppose I should appologize to the boys from down south, I just bought one of your toys and turned it into a Canadian citizen. But the MPH guages are slightly annoying when my speeds are in KM/H. Does anyone out there sell replacement guage faces in Canadian units of measure?

    Perhaps cool looking ones too??

I was also wondering if anyone had changed the color of the lights in thier guages, mine show though as primarily red with some orange hughs to it. But I think it would be cool to go mostly blue to match the cars paint. (But with red still in the upper RPM range and high temp range etc etc.)

You should be able to pull any cluster out of a Canadian car and drop it right in. Mine id from the US as well and I have no issue with the speeds being in MPH. Ive just learned to adjust. As it is I don't really watch the speedo unless I am on the highway. I just go along with traffic.

They do. The smaller ones will be the converted speed, just not as accurate, but close enough, to avoid most tickets.

True enough, but I just prefer the look of a KM/H oriented guage, and I've seen some really cool gauges out there..only none of the goodlooking ones seem to have KM/h as an option.

I think those could look pretty sweet. Does anyone know how the silver faced ones look....the picture on the website doesn't look very good, the white looks a lot better on thier site, but I have a Blue and Silver them going for this car.

Where is the best place to get these in a hurry? And where can I get some decals or vinels for them (and other parts of the car) I like how in your pics you have Camaro SS on the guages...but for me obviously I would need WS6, Pontiac, Trans Am etc.

And now that they have discontinued their blue blubs, where can I get some that are truely blue...actually I could probably find some if I knew what style or kind of bulb it was. Can someone who has had them out let me know please?

I posted a link to the pics of my Silver MACEWEN OVERLAY on post # 9

You can get decals for the Overlays from Brent Franker. LINK>>

I forget where I got L.E.D.s from. I'll have to find it.

Thanks a million, I didn't realize how hard this whole customizing thing was going to be, but when your trying to order things from all over America (and smuggle them into Canada) its challenging.
Info from you guys who have done this kind of thing before is how I survive, locally there is nothing in terms of products and even less in terms of people who know about such things.
