    Grounds

I recently pulled the motor out of my 98 formula to replace the wire harness, put in a stall, and clean up the engine bay. When i took off the old wire harness none of the grounds were hooked up on the motor the previous owner actually had cut them all and ran his own i guess.... I need to know where they are supposed to go.

There is one on the front driver side of the motor behind the alternator that was never hooked up, and then 3 wires on the back driver side of the motor, looks like they attach to the head??

i noticed today that i also have another plug that i am not sure where it goes... It is towards the back of the trans where the rear O2's would plug in. its a small plug with just 2 wires running to it.. i don't remember disconnecting anything back there when i removed the motor, and i looked on my old harness and the same plug on there looks pretty dirty like it hasn't been hooked up for a while... anyone have any ideas?

i can get a pic in a little bit

Not to be a dick man but the plugs from your wire harness will only plug into one spot. One or to grounds go on the back of the head. There is one that is close to the starter and bolts to the block. On the driver side there is one that goes to the fender well.

If you take your time, plug everything in that will plug in, I think you will see where the grounds go. I had much the same question, posted to this site and recieved no respons.

i got all of the grounds figured out, i just can't find anywhere for this last damn plug... i looked on the trans, under the car, everything... The wiring on this car was so jacked up when i removed it that i can't use that to figure out where everything goes...

i was just trying to see if anyone that has pulled thier motor before might know where it went, i guess i'll just leave it unplugged and see what F's up when i start the car..

i hate asking stupid questions like that, i know everything will only plug into one spot, the guy i bought the car from i guess didn't have the bolts for the grounds on the back of the head so he just cut all 3 wires and made is own grounds for pretty much all of the connectors under the hood, pretty awesome.. wiring is definatly not my thing, i'm basically learning as i go...
