Good shock reasonnable price

I guess I have 2 questions My car has 36 000miles never at the track only softly driven from the previous owner.... That will change :-) I am looking at changing the shocks and would like to lower it about 1/2 an inch or a little more nothing drastic but I want something better of course but budget oriented I have a really bad pelvis so the stiffness of the ride is an issue.

I installed Bilstein on my Chrysler Aspen I was going to sell my SUV until I installed those man I never thought shocks would change a vehicle that much and from what I hear from u guys the same is true for our Cars

I need help could you guys help me with some opinions ????

R1 Concepts cross drilled and slotted rotors, Z06 Replica wheels from OE Wheels 10.5 " back 95" front 18 and 17" rims with 295/35/18 in the back Firestone Wide Ovals Trufiber WS9 hood SLP Lid B&M transmission cooler Yank 3200rpm stall converter yet installed oh and a Flowmaster axle back exhaust I had it so....

I only make 20 passes a year at the track but would like to be in the 12's High 12's obviously and yes I will get a Tune Frost or local I haven't decided so my budget is already busted but I would like to finish my project for now and I don't want to sell my SUV lol

The lowering is not a must for this year but shocks would be nice Can I buy shocks and lower 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch later?
