getting a gas smell out of the garage...

Any tips on removing a gas smell from the garage? I did brakes on a piece of crap F150 that had a leaky gas tank yesterday and now the garage stinks real bad. I've had gas smells in there before but usually I can put down some laundry detergent and it helps. That didn't even dent the smell this time. What do you guys use?

Lol the nerve of some people. I usualy use some Kitty litter to pick up the mess left and a fan to vent out the garage for a day or two.

+1 on the fan, maybe also take a water hose to it to wash of the floor. get that guy in the ford to come back and clean it for you

Never use kitty litter to clean up Gas..... You end up with flamable Kitty Litter.....!

Best advice is to just let it air out.

i'd say let it air out, and try to spray it away with a hose first

NEVER EVER spray it with water...it drives it into the concrete.I know of two people who died in a garage fire after hosing down the floor because gas was spilled on it.The next day they were using a torch and the entire place blew up.Killed both of them.Be sure just to let it dry out.

woops.....a little to late for that warning. The first thing I did was pour laundry detergent on it and hit with some hot water and a scrub brush. Didn't help at all.
