Gauges are possesed

Well, i just installed a k&n CAI on my 04 GTO,I re-installed everything, and the next thing i know, my air bag light would come on, shit saying fuel gauge error, service error see dealer,a nd my actual gauges would go nuts. I could have fooled ppl by taking a pic of my speedometer and told them i made it up to 200, but i was only going 35. Has any other GTO owners had this problem. What should I do?

Check to make sure you didn't disconnect anything you weren't supposed to and reconnected everything you were supposed to. If there's no "ah hah!" then take it in under warranty. K&N's don't void your factory warranty.

umm, i am over 36k and i have aftermarket exhaust(spintech side exit catback) so i dont think i can get the warranty deal

Check and recheck your connections or anything you may have hit. Sounds like a ground issue. Battery terminals tight? If all else fails then remove the k&n and see if the issue is resolved.

No speedo prob. here but, my temp guage did go to hot upon a cold start up once and my horn occasionally beeps on it's own.
Possesed or elec. gremlins?
If it only did it once, let it go. If this continues, try disconecting your batt. then re-conect it.
P.S. I have seen on another forum that this has happened to some others.
