Arrest Me-Red- 1997 Trans Am
Gauges having multiple problems.
I recently got a 97 trans am and its got some problems with the instrument cluster. At first I thought all the gauges worked, but didnt light up at night. Now i'm realizing the fuel gauge is having trouble. It went to full when i filled it up but wont go past half full, even when the car is almost empty. So i need to find out how to get them to light up and if there is anything that would make the fuel gauge not work, even when the rest do. Oh and i checked fuses already.

Make the the illumination controle is turned up, it will be with the ehad light control, As for the fuel gauge chances are it is a problem with the sending unit.

Arrest Me-Red- 1997 Trans Am
The illumination control is turned up, i think that might be whats not working though, none of the other things (door, ac, or steering wheel buttons) light up either.
how could i check out the sending unit for fuel gauges?

best way I can think od is to get under the car and find the herness for it near the tank and unplug itm using a meter to measure the ohm reading.
