navy blue metallic- 2002 camaro ss
Before you buy parts try adjusting your throttle cable first. There's an adjustment screw you can mess with to make your pedal lose or stiff. I put a new T.B. on and had the same thing happen, it felt like my pedal was hard.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
Are you talking about the idle stop screw because that doesn't affect the TB tension at all???

you can also try lubing the cable but if it were me I'd probably just replace it. Does your TB blade open easy by hand? I wouldn't take any chances if the cable isn't right....stuck pedal equals zero fun.

Yes the blade opens easyly by hand
I cleaned it all out it feels better
It's very hard to make it easier I have to hit the top of the pedal cuz If I touch the bottom.
The car won't move
When I bought I was postin threads bout my car was lazy no power at All and all that
So the problem is the gas pedal
Like u said. No fun at all
I tried to adjust it but no difference
I guess I have to buy anew cable

Get the cable, install and keep us posted. Kinda reminds me of a bicycle brake cable...it gets rusty and seizes in the tubing and eventually snaps.

buy the cable new my friend. even if it cost you some money. this is one of those items that you don't want to mess around with. imagine if that cable gets stuck in WOT while you are just taking off a red light and then you crash your car, someone else or even worse. Then your not going to feel so good about it.
