G92 1LE 10 Bolt Rearend Question
Okay guys... I dont have $2500 bucks right now for Strange or Moser rearends, surprise surprise... Saving for a bike so I can park the Camaro and stop racking up miles and tearing it up. Until I have a bike I was looking around and I found a rearend out of a 1992 IROC G92 1LE 10 bolt for sale. I know its still a 10 bolt and all but will it fit in my 99 Z? I am not worried about ABS or TC since my Mickeys already leave both TC and ABS inop... I think this rearend is the strongest rearend for under $500 if I am not mistaken? All help welcomed.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
Sounds like the same old 7.5" 10 bolt rear end GM's been putting in the camaros since the 80s
Its not stronger

3rd gen rears are 1 inch narrower per side than 4th gen rears.
Wouldn't work on a 4th gen unless you went through the trouble to measure and find/pruchase offset rear wheels to compensate. No need to go through all that trouble for no gain what so ever.

Supposedly these 1LE 10 bolts are better and yes they are gold. Hawks Third Gen I dunno if you have ever heard of the site but they want $800 for one used. But they also want $500 for one outta our cars.

That's just crazy, they aren't worth the metal they are made with. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for one. I use the backing plates for the brakes on rearend swaps and throw the rest of the rear away
Any more money than that and I may as well just go to GM and buy the backing plates new.
