    fuses poppin

I have a 2000 Camaro SS. Keeps blowing fuse for instrument panel lights & parking lights (SAME FUSE). Any ideas on a wiring diagram or how i can trace the short in the system? It would only blow every now and then until i did a burnout with a slight wheel hop. As soon as i felt the hop the short completely grounded. Now pops as soon as i touch it to the fusebox. Can anyone out there help me?

First thing I would check, is the famous front parking / turn signal bulbs & sockets...

I had this problem but it had to do with the sound system (head unit) , it had a short in the ground wire and it was popping my fuses for all my dash components. i rewired it and bam fixed then a week later a double den pioneer.

Don't keep reseting the circuit breaker, for it might cause more damage. Ill have to look at my service book when i get home and see if i can trow a couple test points for you to check. Wont be to hard to find, could be a loose ground on the parking lights.

I just noticed that my wipers weren't working. I check the fuse and viola!... The fuse was blown.

I replaced it just to blow that one. Any ideas as to where I should start my "short" hunt?

Sounds like the wiper motor might be gone, or someone glued your wipers to the windshield... LOL
