Fuel rail covers question.
Question.... I'm looking at some c5 Corvette rail covers for $60 I think the price is not bad.
My question is how do they hold on the fuel rails or the engine?
Do they have something underneath the covers?
I'm going to get them in a few mins but I don't Know what to look for.
Thanks for the help..

they have a C section that attaches to the fuel rails and on the bottom there are a couple of metal clips that attached to something on the coil packs.
I got mine for $55, I painted and did mine own work. Jump on them if you can

If I need to remove the air pump hose I'll do it.
Do I need to cut the passenger side cover to make it fit if I got the egr?

Delete the egr & air pump even if you don't have headers yet. But you live in Cali so you got other problems with emissions. Check with the cali members on what you can do.

The paint job looks cheap. I'm getting them painted, will have flames too. And some skulls
If I have to remove the air pump
Hoses. I don't think I'm gonna put the covers on.
Cuz if I remove the hoses I won't be able to pass the emissions.

Make them look like this and they will fit with the secondary air system still on the car:
You have to unwrap the reflective heat tape from your fuel lines. Also, you should install heat tape to the underside of the covers if they do not already have it. No need to re-wrap the fuel lines as the cover will now insulate them from heat.

Sorry Leo, I didn't get back to you on this, I've been busy.
Jeff is right, that is the exact way I did mine, even though I've deleted the Air/EGR. Since your getting them repainted go ahead and make all adjustments now.
I think you are having issues on the drivers side correct?
I had to disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rails and reroute the injector wire harness underneath the fuel line. Once I did that the FRC seated.
This cost me about $10 from O'Reilly. Works great on fuel lines.
I got my "Trans Am" and "5.7 stripe" from Afterthoughts

Thanks guys.
So if I remove the air hoses. I don't have to cut them or modified them??
Yeah the problem is the drivers side.
Looks complicated to install them.
On the drivers side I notice it has the hole for the fuel line.
Mine has only one.
The one on the picture jeff posted has two holes.
Do I have to make another hole for the fuel lines?
