Fuel pump, trap door Q
I have to replace my fuel pump and have decided just to to the trap door. My question is what is the best tool the cut the trap door with. Thanks in advance.

Dremel tool works find. I saw a write up a while back, I can't find it. Maybe one of the mods can link it for you.

I used an air cut-off tool. Uses like, 3" wheels. You don't want to go deep at all...

Thanks for the info guys. Hoping the pump gets here soon. Haven't even heard my car run in like 2 mths let alone drive. Can't wait to get it runnin again

So I cut the hole today and for some reason the shits backwards. It not like in any of the pics I saw. I ended up having to cut down the other end also. Idk wtf is up in there.

Yes I followed those and it looks nothing like the pic. Mine is closer to the bak of the car. But I do not have a pic bcus I had to go to work right after I was done.

Yes your tank is black plastic.. But I'm getting the feeling you may have cut the wrong area of the tunnel.. Just a hunch is all... If you've cut the slanted or angled part that goes down towards the well.....=......oooops!... Good luck man..
