Fuel Gauge Issues

Let me start by saying, I really appreciate any and all help I may receive from this post. I have an 02 SS and my fuel gauge is acting strange. Sometimes it will drop to empty, even with a full tank. Once it drops, of course the "check gauges" light comes on, but after a few moments, the gauge shoots back to normal. Here's the strange part. When I check for dtc's, it says fuel gauge sending unit voltage high, but the "check engine" light does not cone on. I have a feeling the sending unit is beginning to take a dump, but I wanted to get another opinion besides my own. The pump is still working great, but I know its all one piece so I will be changing both. Thanks again for any help.

Yep, most likely its the fuel level sender. A lot of times, you can get the sender separate from the pump from GM.

Significant amount of folks have eliminated this exact situation with the TCW3 fuel add.
