Front / rear caliper pins....
whats the differance between the two?

If I am correct, the front caliper pins are larger in diameter than the rear. I also believe the fronts are longer than the rear.

Good question - but what Rich posted certainly makes sense as the front brakes are bigger than the rears. Just a note, on our cars it is imperative that the caliper pins be pulled, cleaned and lubricated with synthetic caliper grease every time the brakes are serviced.

Ordered the rears as nobody had anything but fronts in stock. I did not mic the parts but I believe them to be the same. I too agree that the fronts should be a better part and next time will just get two sets of fronts. They are also cheaper.

Black- 2002 WS6
The pins are different GM Part #'s Front 18K1039 and Rear 18K1038. I know the bolts are different, but i am not sure of pin length?
