    front air dam

I know that removing the air dam will cause the car to run hot...I was thinking about cutting off 1 inch at the bottom to get a little more clearance and to clean up the look of the front end. Has anyone tried this? Did the car run any hotter?
    Thanks!!!

    I would advise against it,
It was made that size for a reason.

Reducing the airflow across your radiator is always bad.

I would just leave it alone, Its not going to gain that much ground clearence or make it look that much better. Just my 02 though

Its made that way in order to draw air through the radiator. If it is crewed up, go to a GM dealer and order a new one. Ordered one last year and it was about $ 65.00.

    Bottom line, don't remove it.
