    Firing Order Swap?

Ok. So a coworker of mine was trying to explain to me how changing the firing order (cylinders 4&7 i think) would increase power. Is he right? And is this doable in our engines?

Yah, that's an old-school trick. Can't do it on the LSx as:
    1) We already use that imroved firing order
    2) No distributor...coil on plug
    3) The PCM would freak out

That what I was thinking. My main question to him was why GM wouldn't have done that in the first place. His response was because of emissions. I knew you guys would be able to give a definate answer. Thanks guys.
