I cant comment on the duration but make sure its a wide lobe sep angle. Something 114 or above. Id go for a 224 or 228 cam myself, but thats just a guess. Comp cams would be a good one to ask, they do it for a living.

Don't they make cams specifically for boost? Or does that only matter on Turbo cars?

thats what i was thinking, but at the same time i wanted to see if anyone knew specifically which cam is good for that type of s/c. i was also thinking since there's enough low end torque coming from the charger, i would get mid to top end cam? just a thought

IMHO...your best bet would be call comp cams or Pat-G and have one of them custom spec you out a cam

PatG, comp cams, texas speed would all be good people to ask. Anything been done to the shortblock? 500rwhp+ on a stock bottom end with boost seems sketchy.

it "should" hold the 500rwhp BUT how long...no one knows lol...could be one day or 3 years

make sure you have a very good tuner

I know of a few over the 500rwhp on a stock bottom end. The thing that concerns me most is the heat pump he's going to be putting on it.

Don't get the bay area people started on good tuner's. That's like asking, "What's better new york style or chicago style pizza?".
