    Extra Vacuum lines?

well my car is an m6 with a swapped junkyard motor out of a 99 a4 car... i have a random vacuum line not connected to anything and i dont see where it goes (its up by the pcm) and i was wondering if a4 cars or 99's possibly have an extra vacuum line than a 98 m6?? because its doesnt really act like it has a vacuum leak

would that effect the amount of air coming out of the vents? cuz it seems weaker in the middle of the car....and btw what does an ls1 idle at exactly? cuz it may actually be acting like it has a vacuum leak lol

If you are leaking vacuum, then yes, it could cause the vents to not switch back and forth. Start up your car, turn the Climate Contol knob to off. Turn the car off. Then go through each of the settings one click at a time and then back again one click at a time. You should hear the vacuum release each time you switch settings.

I think you need a check valve. It controls your vaccume that regulates your blower fan for your vents
