external tachometer
adding external tach w/ shift light???????? can i leave factory tach hooked up, where do i pick my signal up? only has red,blk,yel,grn ,wires out of tachometer

Yea you can leave the factory tach functional, not sure what yellow is either, maybe for the light? Anyway the tach output siginal wire on a '98 is pin #35 white wire on the blue connector: www.ls2.com/boggs/torques/98pinpcm.htm
