Purely subjective and you'll get lots of answers. I am very fond of Magnaflow and run their catbacks on both the Trans Am and Suburban.

Silver & Blue- 02 Camaro SS, 04 GTO
I like the sound of the SLP LM2 system. Borla is also a great system but it will set you back alot of cash. IMO LM2 is the way to go.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

Will me just changing the catalytic converters change the sound even if the rest is stock

They have an effect on sound. Without them, the car will be much louder. You'll also probably introduce rasp in the exhaust tone at certain RPM, which most people do not like.
Do you plan on getting headers for the vehicle or no?Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Hi Dalton.
I run Borla on mine. And I love it.
But another way you could hear different cat-back setups is go to LS1 Sounds - Your Comprehensive Exhaust Resource
It's a pretty neat site where you can choose from a list of different cat-back setups to hear what they sound like.

If you don't have a catback on already iirc the muffler won't fit since the inlets and outlets are bigger than stock.

How much did you pay for the magnaflow and I actually bought the car in st Pete so you just cut the catalytic converters off? And also my car has service engine soon light on due to the catalytic converters off will it go away
