Exact differance between the LQ4 and LQ9 engine?

Hello, im wondering if somebody can tell me what the exact differacne is between the LQ4 and LQ9 engine as from what i understand they are both the 6.0 engine.

Is the LQ9 the HD truck engine rated at 300 HP 360 TQ and the LQ4 the 345 HP 380 TQ SS and Caddy engine??

Mike,

I think you have it backwards, the lq4 is the 300 hp and the lq9 is the 345. From what I know the only difference is the pistons and the chambers in the heads. The lq9 is higher compression but they are both 6.0 motors.
