    ERG mod....

    I have heard from a couple sources about an egr mod for the 98-00 ls1. Is this mod worth is? If so how is it performed and does it set off any annoying codes. What other mods are available and what are the end results. Please include links to websites for instruction if available. Thanks.

    Just block it off the manifolds and put a freeze plug in the intake and it will throw a code. Get that deleted and there you go. I frees up a little airfow into the intake.

    Buddy of mine did both the !EGR and !AIR on his 2k, wanted to clean up the engine bay. Thinks he might have lost a couple MPG, but might just be different gas though???
