engine running rough

Has anyone had problems with the engine idleing at really low rpms? Sometimes it idles fine but every now & then it will actually die it idles so slow. I noticed the problem after I went to the track this weekend & used a dry shot for the first time. It runs fine other than that. Right now it is running ok, but just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

I did once but that was right after i got a little water in the intake, after i burned the water out it stopped for a month then the other day it was really sluggish in first gear i pushed the pedal down it barley went and then worked fine and took off. Another month has gone by and it has ran great since then but i dont know why it did that.
