    Cool Engine options????

I'm about to start a project on building a custom 1969 camaro..What would be a good engine choice (balance of power and fuel economy and not a ridiculus price)
And no ford engines, etc into it

We did an LS1/T56 into our 67 camaro, and running 3.73 rear we get 27mpg. It was a bit harder and more expensive a few years ago when we did it, but now you can get everything you need pretty easy. Check the conversions section of tech as well...
