Engine may have took a dump on me????

OK i have a 98 z28 with minor bolt ons...... i was sick with the flu and drivin home from the doctors.3/4 of the way home the car shut off. then i started it again...it started so i left at green couple blocks from my house.... at the stop sign....car stopped again..... two blocks away tried to start it and it took a couple of turn before it started... but then the engine F-ing started to make a bad noise... real bad.... like a tin can was thrown in the head.... got home check the oil it was fine might have water..... but then i looked at the ratitior and saw no coolant i open the switch and the coolant temp was real high 3/4 or more

.... put water and it started to leak

i was pissed.... i was sick so i just went to bed. Two days later i felt better i started it and it still made the noise.... so when may dad came home i started it for him it didn't make the noise this time for like 5 seconds then it did it again.... what can be the problem..... low on cash need a quick way to see what the problem is.... hoping its just the rocker or spring pushrod something other than piston or rod or a damn bearing.... please help any info will be great..... thank you

it doesnt sound good my man..you need to take the top end off and check around..and while your at it check the compression..um try to issolate the sound..and see what cylinder its comming from.

Where did it leak from when you added water?
