    1999 Pontiac Trans Am

    Emergency !!! Dash lights flashed on -wont turn over

    1999 Trans Am, turned ignition key, it made weird clinking noise, ALL the different dash lights flashed on, then went out, at same time even the rear hatch open.Tried to turn over again, got nothing.totally dead!! Anybody know what this is ? ! I have to be at work in 3 hours!!..Kay

    Try jumping it off and see if it will start. You can go somewhere like Advance Auto and have them test your battery and alternator to hopefully find the culprit. Also check and make sure all your battery connections are tight and free of corrosion, and that the wires are in good condition.
