Electrical issues
My headlights on my 98 formula are on the fritz! When I use the keyless entry remote to lock or unlock my car the headlights pop up (but don't turn on) ang go back down, and th right motor keeps running for a couple of seconds. It also does this if i push the lock button when I get out for the delayed lock. Also when I turn my switch to park lights the headlights are now coming up. Anyone point me in a direction to fix this issue? Thank you for the help.

is it grinding? Sounds like the headlight gear is done. You can try to flip it as that works for some people or get brass gears from brent franker.

The headlight that is making the grinding noise has a bad gear in it and is causing everything you listed. You have 3 options.
1. Take the motor apart and flip the gear.
2. Replace the gear with a brass one that someone sells. I can't remember who.
3. Replace the headlight motor.
In the future don't put your headlights up while the car is moving.

it's not a hard swap. Only took me a few minutes and I took the headlight completely apart because I don't like working all cramped up if I can help it. Like I said, I would probably try to flip that gear first. Might not cost you a dime and flipping the gear will take you 10-15 minutes.
