EGR Problem
(If the EGR valve is not operating porprerly it can cause the p0300 code for some reason. Right from p 6-1964
Too much EGR flow causes any of the following conditions to occur:
The engine stalls after a cold start
The engine stalls during closed throttle conditions
The vehicle surges during a cruise condition
A rough Idle
ADTC P0300)
How would I solve this problem?

Answered with your other post but I'll make an adendum here, You could also just take the entire system out, then get the generated codes removed.

Just removed my EGR and AIR on friday and man does it really clean the engine bay up. It seems so much less cluttered. Well and i added my ls6 intake which i just love haha. But i dont think a hand held code reader can delete them from the computer for good. I think you need a tune for that.

If you don't get the codes removed right away can it hurt the car without it, oh and can you remove all of this and still have the LS1 intake?
Thanks

It won't hurt anything as long as all the openings are blocked off. And yes you can run the LS1 intake as well.

No it wont hurt the car. All it does is recirculate emissions.. But as for keeping you ls1 intake, you could, you would just have to seal the hole on top of the manifold somehow. What i did to move the car real quick was unplugged the sensor on top of the egr but left it mounted and still into the top of the intake. But i bought the block off plates for EGR and AIR on the headers. So basically i left one egr tube in the manifold and i pulled the one on the header and put the plate underneath it.
You need the EGR and AIR plates, theres 3. Skip the gaskets, mine were still good and you could always just use instagasket.

I'm about to remove my AIR and EGR for appearance purposes. I'll probably just make the block off plates with the help of my dad, but since i'm keeping the ls1 intake for now, i'll have to buy the $2 egr intake plug from ls1speed.com. I highly recommend them, they are a great site with cheap prices and free shipping on $100+
BTW, i haven't tried to remove those things yet but i noticed the AIR pump has a hose that travels to the back of the intake manifold... is it attached there? or will it just come out when i unplug it from the manifolds?1999 Trans Am M6
