    Easy alter question...I hope

I just want to know...can you go to high on an alternator amperage? Not talking stupid 600 amps or something but the 98 LS1 came with a 102 amp alternator and I want to go to a 160 but also saw a 200. Just want to make sure the 200 would not do anything bad. I have an underdrive crank pulley and the original is just getting old so I want to upgrade. Thanks ya'll!!

Get you the FAST 140 amp part # 30-7058 with the serpentine pulley. It will work but you might have to modify the bracket. $180.82 If you call them direct.
