Easiest way to remove a broken bolt in the head?

I was wondering what the easiest way to remove a broken bolt off in a head. Especially at an awkward position and you cant center in on it..

weld a nut onto it. that would be the easiest. Works like a charm. I have seen easy outs fuck up threads way to much.

Got a pic? How much of the bolt is remains? If there is not enough of the bolt welding a nut is a loss cause.

And this would be better seen in the General Help section. Some members don't come into the AAG.

need a tap and dye kit... welding another bolt to it probably won't work because the weld will just break...

Have you soak with PB Blaster? If you have enough to get a bite - vice grips after a soaking.

Spaz is right, I've tried the nut welding several times and over half have ended in failure.

well....at least it's up on top. Soak it with PB blaster and let it sit for a bit. You may be able to take a small ( real small) screwdriver and hammer and tap it to get it to turn out enough to get some vice grips on it. I know that's on an angle but you can't get a reverse thread drill bit on it to grab it or anything like that?

    moving to general help

Can you lift the cowling up any? Smaller drill? Or a Dremel. yeah a dremel will fit in that space. Start with a small bit and work up. After you get a big enough hole you can use the extractor to get it out. But soak it in PB

Make sure you tape off those cylinders.

    Damn that blows.

expensive ones. be sure you have a T-handle that will fit onto the end of it for hand turning.
